We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team in delivering high-quality medical care and support to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: The LPN will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with medical assessments and procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and Medical Director.
  • Medication Management: The LPN will ensure accurate and timely medication administration according to prescribed treatment plans. This includes adhering to proper dosage and ensuring patients receive their medications as scheduled.
  • Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, promptly report any changes or concerns to the RN or Medical Director, and document observations accurately in patients' medical records.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, therapists, and counselors, to develop and implement patient treatment plans that align with individualized recovery goals.
  • Crisis Intervention: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate crisis intervention when necessary, following established protocols and seeking guidance from the RN or Medical Director as needed.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about addiction, treatment procedures, and general health and wellness practices to support their recovery journey.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment progress notes, and other necessary documentation according to facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations, nursing standards, and Red Rock Recovery Center's policies and procedures.
  • Safety Measures: Promote a safe and therapeutic environment by ensuring infection control practices, safety protocols, and risk management strategies are implemented and followed diligently.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in addiction treatment and nursing care.

Job Details

  • Education: Must have a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state board of nursing.
  • Experience: Prior experience in an addiction treatment center or related healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
