Job Details

Dynamic MAGNET hospital is looking to hire several passionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses for the Physician Practice team!
As an LPN you will be an important member of the outpatient care team utilizing the nursing process for administering care of both well patients and those with chronic health problems. The team works collaboratively in collecting data, preparing patients and rooms for treatment, and assisting with procedures under the direction of the attending physician.

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday from 8;30 am to 5 pm

NO weekends!

Responsibilities

Perform phlebotomy, EKG, holter monitors, pulmonary function testing, and IVs; administer routine immunizations, therapeutic injections and skin tests as assigned by medical provider
Execute medical orders for specific drugs, treatments, tests, nursing or other procedures within the framework of Hospital policy and government regulations and laws
Assist and/or prepare patients for surgical procedures, tests, treatments and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures

Support patients’ physical and emotional well-being by provided comfort and care as needed

Education/Accredited Programs

Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program
Current license to practice Practical Nursing in the state of New York
