We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Luxury Home Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is an incredible opportunity to lead the development of high-end, luxury residential projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional quality projects on time and within budget. The role requires a strong leader who can manage a team, oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Manage and lead a team of professionals and tradespeople, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and excellence.
3. Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded.
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
5. Meet contractual conditions of performance and deliver high-quality results.
6. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
7. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
8. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
9. Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.
10. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
11. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
12. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
13. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
14. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
15. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management roles within the construction industry, specifically in luxury residential construction.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering high-end residential projects from start to finish.
4. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
5. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, materials, quality control, costs, and safety.
6. Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
7. Proficient in construction management software packages.
8. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
9. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
10. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
11. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
12. Strong client service orientation and commitment to meeting project deliverables.
13. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
14. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
