My client is a leading manufacturing company and is growing! They are looking to add multiple machinists across two shifts to their team.
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm
2nd shift 3:30pm-12am
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm
2nd shift 3:30pm-12am

Job Details
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Swiss-type CNC machines and other CNC equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work instructions, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing requirements.
Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices; establish offsets and make adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Perform manual machining operations using equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders as needed.
Inspect in-process and finished parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
Monitor machining operations, identify tool wear or process variation, and troubleshoot issues to minimize scrap and downtime.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve machining processes, cycle times, and product quality.
Complete accurate production records, inspection documentation, and machine maintenance logs.
Perform routine machine care and maintain a clean, organized work area while following established safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience with Swiss machining, CNC machine operation, blueprint reading, manual machining, and precision measurement, or equivalent skills.
Ability to independently set up machines, adjust tooling and offsets, and produce parts to tight tolerances.
Strong understanding of cutting tools, machining parameters, workholding methods, and material characteristics.
Proficiency using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and identify nonconforming parts.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply dimensional tolerances throughout the machining process.
Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and commitment to consistent quality.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Technical training, a machining apprenticeship, or a related certification is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience is welcome.
