Job Details

Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Electrician in the manufacturing industry. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment. This role requires a highly skilled professional who excels in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of electrical and mechanical equipment. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair various types of electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyor systems, and manufacturing machinery.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, PLC Controls, and wiring systems.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeyman electrician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and hand/power tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of the principles and practices of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
