Job Details
We are seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead all maintenance operations, facility management activities, and capital improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operation. This individual will oversee maintenance personnel, preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability efforts, contractor management, and facility improvements while partnering closely with Engineering and Operations leadership.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution while driving equipment uptime, facility reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.

We are specifically looking for someone who can strengthen the team's electrical capabilities and serve as the primary resource for electrical troubleshooting, power distribution, controls, and facility electrical systems while continuing to support broader maintenance and facilities operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the maintenance department and maintenance personnel
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Manage maintenance schedules, work assignments, and labor resources
- Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and reliability metrics
- Analyze maintenance expenses and manage departmental budgets
- Support and lead capital improvement and facility upgrade projects
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams
- Manage outside contractors and service providers
- Prepare estimates for labor, materials, and project requirements
- Inspect completed maintenance work, equipment, facilities, and grounds
- Maintain maintenance records, repair documentation, and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, efficiency, and safety
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and facility expansion projects
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is a plus
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership, supervision, or management experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of industrial maintenance, facility systems, and manufacturing operations
- Experience managing maintenance technicians and contractors
- Experience with preventive maintenance and reliability programs
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, fabrication, plumbing, and facility systems
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Experience with CMMS systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong industrial electrical maintenance background
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, controls, power distribution, and production equipment
- Experience supporting manufacturing facilities with significant electrical infrastructure
- Ability to serve as the department's primary electrical subject matter expert
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and controls systems
- Experience with capital equipment installation and commissioning
- AutoCAD, DraftSight, or SolidWorks experience
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
- Experience supporting fabrication, metal manufacturing, or industrial production environments
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
