Job Details
The Lead Maintenance Person will be responsible for leading the maintenance team in performing preventative and corrective maintenance on rock crushing plant equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated machinery. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and perform maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, and hydraulic systems
Lead and train 1–4 technicians, assigning daily tasks
Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA safety standards
Maintain logs, manage parts inventory, and coordinate with plant operations
Qualifications
5+ years maintenance experience in rock crushing, quarry, or heavy industrial setting
2+ years in a lead or supervisory role
Strong skills in troubleshooting and repair of crushers, conveyors, and hydraulics
Welding/fabrication experience preferred
Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA safety standards
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb, and work in outdoor/industrial conditions
