Are you a dynamic, hands-on professional with a knack for solving complex technical problems? If you have a passion for maintaining and improving manufacturing systems and equipment, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you. We are looking for a dedicated Permanent Maintenance Lead for our fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical schematic, troubleshooting, AC and DC drives, wiring, installation, PLC, Allen Bradley PLC's, ladder logic, and leadership. This role requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading and coordinating the maintenance team to ensure the smooth running of all production lines.
2. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, troubleshooting, and repairing AC and DC drives.
3. Installing, maintaining, and repairing both new and existing equipment.
4. Utilizing PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley PLCs, for automation and control of manufacturing processes.
5. Applying ladder logic for troubleshooting and programming PLCs.
6. Ensuring all maintenance work is carried out to the highest standard, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
7. Collaborating with other departments to improve production efficiency and safety.
8. Training and mentoring maintenance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
9. Responding promptly to breakdowns and resolving issues quickly to minimize downtime.
10. Implementing preventive maintenance programs and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Maintenance Lead role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with electrical schematic, troubleshooting, AC and DC drives, wiring, and installation.
3. Strong knowledge of PLCs, especially Allen Bradley PLCs, and ladder logic.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading a maintenance team.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
7. A strong commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures within the manufacturing industry.
8. A relevant technical certification or degree is preferred.
