We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Maintenance Manager for our manufacturing unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the electrical maintenance department, including team management, system installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various electrical systems and machinery. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in the manufacturing sector. This position requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the electrical maintenance department, ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
2. Manage, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all electrical systems and machinery to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
4. Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues in a timely and effective manner.
5. Work closely with the production department to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production schedules.
6. Collaborate with other managers to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks.
8. Stay abreast of the latest developments in electrical engineering and maintenance best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our maintenance operations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in managing teams and leading them towards achieving organizational goals.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and tools commonly used in the manufacturing industry.
5. Proficient in using PLCs, particularly Siemens and Allen Bradley systems.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a willingness to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field.
