Job Details

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring that machinery, equipment, and facilities are kept in optimal working condition.

2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and heavy equipment.

3. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and repair work.

4. Perform hands-on maintenance work when necessary, including welding (TIG and MIG), electrical troubleshooting, and working with pneumatics and extrusion processes.

5. Manage the maintenance of plastic production processes, ensuring quality and efficiency.

6. Coordinate with other department managers to prioritize maintenance tasks and projects.

7. Train and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

8. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

9. Manage maintenance budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

10. Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.

2. Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and heavy equipment.

3. Proficiency in welding (TIG and MIG), electrical troubleshooting, working with pneumatics and extrusion processes.

4. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

5. Familiarity with plastic production processes.

6. Proven ability to manage and lead a team.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.

10. Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment.

11. Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering or related field is preferred.
