Our organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Maintenance Manager to join our manufacturing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established and growing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department, including overseeing preventive maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. This role requires expertise in lean manufacturing, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, facility management, CMMS, inventory management, Allen Bradley PLC, and automation.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all equipment and facilities.
2. Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
3. Use lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and system issues, utilizing technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
5. Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
6. Utilize CMMS to track and manage maintenance tasks, equipment status, and inventory.
7. Oversee inventory management, ensuring the availability of necessary parts and supplies.
8. Program and operate Allen Bradley PLC systems and oversee the automation process.
9. Lead, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
10. Collaborate with other department heads to align maintenance activities with production schedules and company goals.
11. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with preventive maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems.
3. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
4. Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong ability to solve complex technical problems.
5. Experience with equipment maintenance, facility management, and CMMS.
6. Proficiency in inventory management and experience with Allen Bradley PLC and automation.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to train and develop staff.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
9. Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
10. A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
11. Relevant certifications or qualifications in maintenance management, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
