Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, food manufacturing, and leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring that the facility and all equipment are running smoothly and efficiently. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure all equipment is running efficiently and minimize downtime.
• Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to identify any potential issues and address them before they become a problem.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure that maintenance work does not impact production schedules.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment, including PLCs and mechanical systems, and implement solutions to resolve them.
• Manage the maintenance budget and ensure that all work is carried out within budget constraints.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including costs, downtime, and equipment performance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, food manufacturing, and leadership.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, and other industrial equipment.
• Proven experience managing a team of technicians and ensuring that all maintenance work is completed on time and to a high standard.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with production teams and manage the maintenance budget.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with these regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
