Maintenance Manager

Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance leadership, with proven abilities in electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), preventative maintenance programs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

As our Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of the maintenance department, including managing a team of technicians and ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
2. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
4. Managing and maintaining PLCs to ensure optimal machine performance.
5. Coordinating with other department heads to identify and address maintenance needs.
6. Keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities, and providing regular reports to senior management.
7. Continuously evaluating and improving maintenance processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
9. Providing training and guidance to maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Maintenance Management.
2. Proven expertise in troubleshooting, PLCs, preventative maintenance programs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on quality.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
6. A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, and a commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
7. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. A relevant degree or certification in a related field will be an advantage.
