We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all installation, repairs and upkeep of our company's facilities. Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repairs, developing maintenance procedures, and leading our team of maintenance workers. Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as general maintenance procedures. We'd like to meet you if you have a knack for problem-solving and an eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.
Manage and oversee all installations, repairs, and upkeep of the organization's property, including machines, mechanical systems, buildings, and other structures.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, spare parts, and the maintenance history of plant equipment.
Plan and manage all repair and installation activities, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Manage the CAPEX budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities with minimal production interruptions.
Implement and uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and productivity.
Train and supervise maintenance department staff.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a maintenance management role, ideally within the beverage manufacturing industry.
Extensive knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and automated machinery.
Proficient in using CMMS and SAP.
Experience with PLC programming and automation.
Familiarity with GMP, Lean Manufacturing principles, and LOTO procedures.
Proven ability to manage and control CAPEX budgets.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, would be advantageous.
