Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance, reliability, and facilities activities within our growing manufacturing operation. This leader will be responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, improving plant reliability, managing capital projects, and developing a high-performing maintenance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience within food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, or other highly automated manufacturing environments.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance, reliability, and facilities activities within our growing manufacturing operation. This leader will be responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, improving plant reliability, managing capital projects, and developing a high-performing maintenance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience within food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, or other highly automated manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all maintenance, reliability, facilities, and utility operations across the plant.
- Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Drive equipment uptime, OEE improvement, and asset reliability initiatives.
- Manage and mentor maintenance technicians, supervisors, contractors, and external service providers.
- Establish KPIs and maintenance metrics to improve operational performance.
- Oversee CMMS utilization, work order management, spare parts inventory, and maintenance planning.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams to support production goals.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action initiatives for equipment failures.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, maintenance spending, and capital improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Support installation, startup, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and production lines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and reliability best practices.
- Manage facility infrastructure including HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, refrigeration, water systems, and other plant utilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Experience managing maintenance teams in food, beverage, consumer products, packaging, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning.
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, automation systems, motors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Proven success leading reliability improvement initiatives and reducing downtime.
- Strong project management and capital equipment implementation experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or Reliability certifications are a plus.
- Food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Automated processing, packaging, batching, mixing, conveying, or high-speed production equipment.
- Multi-shift manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience supporting facility expansions and high-growth manufacturing operations.
