Are you passionate about the world of Engineering and have a knack for problem-solving? We are on the hunt for a Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on the responsibility of managing the maintenance activities for our state-of-the-art industrial manufacturing facility. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery, equipment, and systems.
Responsibilities:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be in charge of a wide range of duties. These include:
1. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment in the facility, including conveyor systems, motors, forklifts, and other industrial machinery.
2. Managing the use of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and schedule all maintenance work.
3. Leading a team of maintenance technicians, providing them with guidance and support, and ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
4. Developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical issues, utilizing your expertise in pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and TIG.
6. Managing the maintenance budget, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
7. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards, and fostering a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
8. Collaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and improve overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably in the engineering industry.
2. Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
3. Proficiency in the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
4. Strong technical skills, including experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, TIG, and electrical troubleshooting.
5. Experience in managing a team of maintenance technicians.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
7. Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in an industrial manufacturing environment.
8. Good communication and leadership skills.
9. The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. A degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering, would be an asset.
