Job Details

Position Summary:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in supporting daily operations by ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical and pneumatic systems within a manufacturing facility. This hands-on role demands expertise in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and system installations. The technician will work with a wide range of industrial equipment and be responsible for maintaining safety, efficiency, and uptime across all systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and maintain electrical conduit systems to support equipment and infrastructure needs.

Set up and service pneumatic tubing systems and related instrumentation used in automated processes.

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues involving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, identifying root causes and implementing repairs.

Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and other equipment, replacing components such as bearings, seals, fuses, and impellers as necessary.

Use voltmeters, ammeters, calipers, dial indicators, and other testing instruments to perform accurate diagnostics and adjustments.

Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals to guide maintenance and installation procedures.

Apply knowledge of electrical and pneumatic control systems to identify faults and restore system functionality using appropriate tools and practices.

Accurately input maintenance activity data into computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking and reporting purposes.

Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), Lockout/Tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and ensure optimal equipment performance.

Assist with preventive maintenance programs, system upgrades, and other assigned maintenance projects.

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Proficient with industrial electrical systems, pneumatic controls, and mechanical components.

Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software platforms.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime and shift work as needed.

Preferred Certifications and Training:

Electrical or Maintenance Technician Certification (preferred)

OSHA 10/30 Certification

Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training

Forklift or lift equipment certification (a plus)
