Job Details
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping equipment and operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of machinery and facility systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring your team has reliable equipment and a safe work environment to complete their tasks efficiently and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment used in die casting and machining.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machines, including die casting presses, CNC equipment, furnaces, compressors, and other plant systems.
Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve machine reliability.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
Qualitifications:
3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with die casting equipment or CNC machinery is highly preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot PLCs is a plus.
Familiarity with lockout/tagout and other safety protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.
