Job Details
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping equipment and operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of machinery and facility systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring your team has reliable equipment and a safe work environment to complete their tasks efficiently and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on die casting machines, CNCs, furnaces, air compressors, and other plant equipment.
Safely work with up to 480V, including 3-phase systems, motor controls, VFDs, and electrical panels.
Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled systems—especially Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
Perform preventative and predictive electrical maintenance to support equipment reliability.
Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, including lockout/tagout and OSHA regulations.
Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades accurately.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience required.
Proficient in 480V electrical systems, industrial wiring, and motor controls.
Experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs strongly preferred.
Familiarity with die casting, CNC machinery, or other industrial manufacturing environments a plus.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic production setting.
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in electrical maintenance or industrial systems preferred.
