We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team in the Food Manufacturing industry. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our food manufacturing plant by performing industrial maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and machine maintenance. You will be working in a USDA Food Plant and will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, completing work orders, and ensuring that all equipment is running at optimal levels.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Respond to work orders in a timely manner, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Install and maintain conveyor systems, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and replacements.
• Ensure that all equipment and machinery is in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and work order systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
