Job Details

You will provide technical leadership, develop maintenance personnel, improve equipment performance, and help build a proactive reliability culture. This is a role for a leader who is equally comfortable on the production floor, coaching technicians, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and building systems that improve long-term reliability.

Reporting Structure
  • Reports to the Director of Manufacturing Technology
  • Leads three supervisors: Equipment Maintenance, Mechatronics Maintenance, and Facilities Maintenance

What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop maintenance supervisors and technicians, set accountability and performance expectations, and build technical capability
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and workforce development, and foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Improve equipment uptime and reliability, reduce repeat failures and chronic downtime, and lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives and develop long-term equipment replacement and asset management strategies
  • Provide technical leadership across mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and automated manufacturing systems
  • Improve maintenance planning and execution, prioritize resources, monitor work backlog and effectiveness, and coordinate with production
  • Support spare parts and maintenance inventory strategies
  • Lead the Facilities Maintenance function, manage contractor relationships and performance, coordinate facility and infrastructure projects, and support after-hours facility response when required

What You Bring
  • 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience
  • Strong troubleshooting background in manufacturing equipment, with hydraulics and pneumatics experience
  • Experience developing maintenance teams and leading root cause analysis and reliability improvements
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Nice to Have
  • PLC troubleshooting and industrial controls experience
  • Experience supporting automated manufacturing environments
  • Reliability-centered maintenance experience
  • CMMS experience
  • Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
  • Engineering or technical degree
