Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the maintenance team, including millwrights, electricians, and controls technicians.
Develop, implement, and sustain a proactive preventive and predictive maintenance program for all mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Support capital projects and major equipment installations by providing technical expertise and project oversight.
Ensure all maintenance work is conducted safely and in compliance with OSHA, company policies, and industry regulations.
Manage maintenance budgets, labor costs, inventory, and contractor performance.
Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and IT/Automation teams to enhance equipment performance and plant productivity.
Mentor and train staff in areas of mechatronics, troubleshooting, and modern maintenance practices.
Use data analytics and CMMS systems to track equipment performance and prioritize work.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment uptime, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
7+ years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of mechatronic systems (integration of mechanical, electrical, and computerized control systems).
Proven experience with PLC systems, VFDs, robotics, sensors, and other automation technologies.
Familiarity with CMMS systems, reliability-centered maintenance, and lean manufacturing principles.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a 24/7 industrial environment.
