3rd shift 6p-6a on a 2-2-3 schedule (Work every other weekend)

A leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our 3rd shift. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring that all machinery and equipment are operating at optimal efficiency. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong understanding of 3 phase motor, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, equipment repair, preventive maintenance, VFD's, and TIG/MIG.

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team during the 3rd shift.
2. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
3. Performing preventive maintenance on equipment to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
4. Troubleshooting and repairing issues with 3 phase motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
5. Managing equipment repairs using both TIG/MIG welding techniques.
6. Configuring and maintaining Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's).
7. Training team members on best practices for equipment maintenance and repair.
8. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
9. Collaborating with other supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities across all shifts.
10. Communicating regularly with management to provide updates on equipment status and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Supervisor role will have the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Demonstrated expertise in 3 phase motor, hydraulics, pneumatics, equipment repair, preventive maintenance, VFD's, and TIG/MIG.
3. Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to coordinate and guide a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and addressing potential issues before they escalate.
5. Proficient in the use of various tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair.
6. A strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
7. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively relay information to team members and upper management.
9. Willingness to work the 3rd shift and be on-call for emergencies.
10. A relevant certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
