Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Supervisor, your duties will include:
1. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems across multiple units, ensuring they are running efficiently and safely.
2. Conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
3. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team.
4. Planning and implementing preventative maintenance programs to maximize the life span of HVAC systems.
5. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
6. Managing relationships with contractors and service providers.
7. Keeping maintenance logs and reporting on daily activities.
8. Ensuring all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the standards of EPA regulations and other relevant laws.
9. Training and mentoring maintenance staff and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
1. CFC Universal Certification.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance, with a strong focus on HVAC systems.
3. Previous experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a multi-unit setting.
4. Thorough knowledge of EPA regulations and other relevant laws.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
10. A strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
11. The ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of weather conditions.
