We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally to support our production processes. This role involves a high level of responsibility and requires a solid understanding of various mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be expected to:
1. Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency.
3. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and systems.
4. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work performed, including routine inspections and repairs.
5. Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
6. Coordinate with production and quality control teams to address any equipment-related issues that may impact product quality.
7. Manage maintenance budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
8. Stay current with the latest maintenance best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven expertise in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and quality control.
4. Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with a track record of building and managing effective teams.
5. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other related computer applications.
6. Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions under pressure.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A relevant degree or certification in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred.
9. Willingness to work in shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays as required.
10. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
