Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Permanent Maintenance Supervisor to join our ever-growing Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department and ensuring that all equipment and machinery are functioning at optimal levels. This role involves a high level of responsibility and requires a professional with a strong mechanical and electrical background. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the maintenance department.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs for all equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Manage maintenance budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of new technology, equipment, and systems to improve industrial processes.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, and USDA regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Repair any mechanical or electrical system malfunctions.
• Handle 480 electrical systems and any other related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in handling 480 electrical systems.
• Familiarity with HACCP, FDA, and USDA regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field is preferred.
