We are currently on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our food production team. This is a permanent role, offering an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of our maintenance operations, ensuring that our manufacturing equipment and systems are running at peak efficiency. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the safety, productivity, and efficiency of our operations, while also managing a team of maintenance professionals. Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
2. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
3. Managing inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring availability when needed.
4. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and food safety standards, promoting a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
5. Leading, training, and supervising the maintenance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
6. Troubleshooting complex maintenance issues, applying your technical expertise to ensure swift resolution.
7. Collaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production.
8. Implementing and managing LOTO procedures to ensure the safety of maintenance personnel.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Maintenance Supervisor role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in equipment maintenance, electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair.
3. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and best practices.
4. Experience with inventory management and the ability to manage and forecast the requirement of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
5. A strong commitment to safety compliance, with experience in implementing and managing safety regulations and food safety standards.
6. Excellent team management and supervisory skills, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
7. Knowledge and experience in implementing LOTO procedures.
8. A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
