Full Job Description
· Lead a Maintenance department that includes front line maintenance managers and a crew of mechanics
· Excellent mechanical aptitude required.
· Assist in planning, organizing, and the administration of plant capital projects.
· Select, control, and administer maintenance equipment and facilities.
· Administer and direct preventive and predictive maintenance programs
· Plan and monitor maintenance personnel training
· Assure maintenance of adequate operating equipment, spare equipment, and replacement parts.
· Maintain a good labor-management relationship.
· Assure records, and equipment history data.
· Data entries in plant CMMS.
· Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and mechanical skills
· Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
· Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· A team player with the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
· An understanding of all safety (including Food Safety) requirements and cautions
Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
Experience:
10 plus years of experience in food/beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
General Knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration’s, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills.
Knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
