Our well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Permanent Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role will oversee all aspects of our maintenance operations, ensuring that our production equipment and systems function efficiently and safely. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee our maintenance team and manage all maintenance operations. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team.
2. Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and ensuring that these procedures are followed.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise with our production equipment and systems.
4. Ensuring that all maintenance operations comply with safety regulations and standards.
5. Conducting regular inspections of our production equipment and systems to identify any potential issues.
6. Managing the maintenance budget and ensuring that all maintenance operations are cost-effective.
7. Training and mentoring maintenance staff and conducting performance evaluations.
8. Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement improvements to our production processes.
9. Managing maintenance records and preparing reports on maintenance operations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Maintenance Supervisor, you will need to meet the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues with production equipment and systems.
3. Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety regulations and standards.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
8. Proficiency with computer software, including maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
9. A degree in a relevant field, such as industrial engineering or mechanical engineering, is preferred.
