Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and implementing a robust preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
2. Supervising and coordinating the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure that all repair and installation tasks are completed on time and within budget.
3. Performing hands-on maintenance tasks, including welding, cutting, and light fabrication.
4. Ensuring the proper functioning of all material handling equipment, including machines and conveyors.
5. Managing the maintenance and repair of air compressors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment.
6. Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems regularly to identify any issues or opportunities for improvement.
7. Training and mentoring maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
8. Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

1. A minimum of two years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in repairs, preventative maintenance, material handling, and building equipment maintenance.
3. Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, machines, conveyors, air compressors, welding, cutting, and light fabrications.
4. Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Relevant certification or diploma in a technical field would be an advantage.
