Job Details:

As a part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, setup, and repair of our advanced manufacturing machinery. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Set up machinery according to detailed specifications and blueprints, ensuring accurate and efficient operation.
• Program and operate PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for machine automation.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify any necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand equipment needs and schedule maintenance accordingly.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Document all maintenance work and repairs for record-keeping and future reference.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine maintenance, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in PLC programming and operation.
• Expertise in machine setup and breakdown procedures.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Strong technical skills, with a keen understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
• A safety-first mindset, with a thorough understanding of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in equipment maintenance or a related field would be advantageous.
