Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with strong PLC troubleshooting experience to support our automated manufacturing operation in Garland, TX. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex electrical and controls issues while working on advanced production equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve PLC, electrical, and control system issues
  • Support processing, packaging, warehouse, and utility systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot:
o Fillers
o Case packers
o Palletizers
o Conveyors
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities

Qualifications
Electrical & Controls
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting experience required
  • Allen Bradley PLC experience including:
o SLC 500
o PLC 5
o Logix 5000
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Experience troubleshooting 480V 3-phase systems
  • Knowledge of low-voltage controls
  • Experience with VFDs and servo systems

Mechanical
  • Experience with:
o Pumps
o Valves
o Gearboxes
o Pneumatic systems
o Hydraulic systems
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG, or Arc)
  • Mill and lathe experience preferred

Additional Qualifications
  • CMMS experience preferred
  • Food, beverage, dairy, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
