Required qualifications
- Lockout/Tagout experience: You must have experience with and be knowledgeable about Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Math skills: You must be able to perform basic mathematical functions, including adding, subtracting, and multiplying.
- Communication: Effective communication skills are necessary to interact with both production line workers and supervisors.
- Manufacturing: Two or more years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Food industry: Experience working in the food industry is also preferred.
- Electrical work: Knowledge of electrical systems, including 480/110/low voltage, is preferred.
- Hydraulics/Pneumatics: Basic experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
- Blueprints and diagrams: The ability to read and follow blueprints and electrical diagrams is preferred.
- Preventative maintenance: Experience performing preventative maintenance is preferred.
- Fast-paced: You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Flexibility: The role requires you to work extended hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Self-motivation: You must be self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills.
