Job Details

The Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation plays a key role in maintaining and improving plant operations. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment with a focus on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair of PLCs, DC/AC drives, and process control equipment.
  • Conduct inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance for mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Diagnose and correct mechanical or electrical malfunctions using technical drawings and schematics.
  • Maintain and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, motors, and industrial control systems.
  • Develop, update, and execute preventive maintenance plans.
  • Assist in managing parts inventory and maintaining a min/max system for critical components.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize maintenance requests and minimize downtime.
  • Follow all company, OSHA, and FDA safety procedures including LOTO and Arc Flash protocols.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Industrial Electronics preferred.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or electrical/instrumentation repair preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and automation components.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, calibration tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work safely in an industrial environment and wear required PPE.
