We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be a part of a team that is committed to making a significant impact in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of our equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. This role requires a strong understanding of AC/DC Circuits, VFD Systems, MCC, and PM pumps. With 5+ years of experience in a similar role, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in maintaining and improving complex engineering systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of engineering equipment and systems, ensuring they are operating effectively and safely.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with AC/DC circuits, VFD systems, MCC, and PM pumps.
  • Assist in the design and installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the operation of equipment and systems, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Engineering industry or a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with AC/DC circuits, VFD systems, MCC, and PM pumps.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and simply.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing support and guidance to other team members.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant safety procedures and protocols.
  • A degree in Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
  • Certification as a Maintenance Technician or in a relevant field is an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
