Responsibilities:
As our Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery, focusing on pneumatic systems, robotic components, and PLCs.
2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
3. Implementing solutions and modifications to improve the reliability and performance of machinery and equipment.
4. Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process.
5. Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols in the workplace.
6. Documenting all maintenance work for future reference and reporting purposes.
7. Assisting in the training of other team members on the operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
8. Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in machinery maintenance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician role should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in pneumatic systems, robotics, and PLCs.
3. A strong technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
5. A strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
8. Willingness to work the third shift and be on-call for emergencies.
9. A relevant certification or diploma in a technical field would be an added advantage.
