Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to:
1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, and building systems operate efficiently.
2. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
3. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
4. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
5. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
6. Work closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
7. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and maintain maintenance records.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
9. Provide recommendations for improving efficiency and reliability of equipment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role in the Engineering industry.
2. Proficient knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulic systems.
3. Proven experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
4. Strong mechanical skills with a hands-on approach to tasks.
5. Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
6. High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field will be a plus.
7. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
10. Valid driver's license.
