Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
2. Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maintain the longevity of equipment.
3. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Provide technical support and guidance to the production team to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols, and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
6. Conduct quality control analysis to ensure the consistency and reliability of our products.
7. Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and reports.
9. Continuously update knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.
10. Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve processes and achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues.
3. Solid knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
4. Strong mechanical skills with a good understanding of machines and tools.
5. Basic safety knowledge with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
6. Electrical skills, including the ability to understand and interpret electrical diagrams.
7. Experience in preventive maintenance and quality control analysis.
8. Ability to install machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications and safety guidelines.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
11. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
12. Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus.
13. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work in challenging conditions.
