Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our high-tech manufacturing equipment, contributing to our commitment to quality and excellence. • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance. This includes but is not limited to PLCs, Fanuc robots, mechanical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime, always aiming for maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand and address equipment-related issues, providing technical guidance and solutions as needed.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs for future reference and analysis.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
• Assist in training other team members on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry or related field.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting, with a focus on Fanuc systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical team members.
• High level of physical fitness, able to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
• A technical degree or certification in a relevant field is preferred.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
