Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Performing routine inspections of machinery and equipment to detect and respond to problems, malfunctions, and performance issues.
2. Conducting regular maintenance tasks such as replacing parts, repairing machinery, and addressing any technical or mechanical issues.
3. Utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and manage maintenance tasks and inventory.
4. Carrying out electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and rectify electrical issues with machinery and equipment.
5. Handling plumbing and HVAC duties to ensure a comfortable, safe, and efficient work environment.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
7. Collaborating with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance procedures and enhance productivity.
8. Staying updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to machinery maintenance and repair.
9. Providing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
10. Participating in the implementation and maintenance of food manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
2. Proven experience in repair, machine maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, HVAC, and the use of CMMS.
3. Extensive knowledge of machinery and equipment preferably in the food & beverage manufacturing space.
4. A strong understanding of the principles and applications of machinery in food manufacturing.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical and mechanical issues efficiently.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
7. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and excellence in all aspects of the job.
8. The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
9. A valid driver's license and the ability to respond to emergency maintenance calls outside of regular working hours.
10. Professional certification in Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
