Responsibilities:
As our Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to:
1. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation.
2. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, and test and make adjustments to machinery.
3. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
4. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
5. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
6. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
7. Assist and train other maintenance personnel in the repair and troubleshooting of equipment.
8. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, and test and make adjustments to machinery.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should have the following:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
3. Excellent knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
4. Proven experience in troubleshooting and machine maintenance.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.
6. A high level of mechanical aptitude and an excellent understanding of the principles of machinery and equipment.
7. The ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
8. A commitment to complying with all safety regulations.
9. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
