Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our high-performing team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our manufacturing equipment and facilities to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled maintenance technician to apply their knowledge and skills in a fast-paced, technologically advanced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning production and plant equipment.
• Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as necessary.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
• Participate in safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Work closely with the production team to understand their needs and ensure machinery and equipment are functioning at optimal levels.
• Respond to emergency call-outs to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
• Continuously evaluate current maintenance processes and procedures for opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

• A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy equipment as needed.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a relevant certification or degree is preferred.
