We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the performance of our production equipment and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, VFD systems, MCC, PM pumps, convection ovens, and bakery operations. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the performance of our production equipment and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, VFD systems, MCC, PM pumps, convection ovens, and bakery operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician to apply their expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment including but not limited to AC/DC circuits, VFD systems, MCC, PM pumps, convection ovens, and bakery operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in equipment and systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
- Use PCL to monitor and control equipment and systems, and to diagnose faults.
- Maintain and repair combination scales, ensuring accurate and reliable operation.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure that all equipment and systems are operating at peak performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, and contribute to the development and improvement of these protocols.
- Assist in the training of other team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with AC/DC circuits, VFD systems, MCC, PM pumps, convection ovens, and bakery operations.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency with PCL and experience with combination scales.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Relevant trade certification or qualification would be highly regarded.
