Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
2. Diagnose faults in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, using your expert troubleshooting skills to determine the best solution.
3. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Operate and program PLCs, ensuring they function correctly and efficiently.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new machinery and systems, offering your expertise and insight to ensure seamless integration.
6. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, providing clear and concise reports when necessary.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and advancements in technology, applying this knowledge to your role.
8. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Engineering industry or a similar role.
3. Proven experience with troubleshooting, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, PLCs, and industrial maintenance.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
5. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as computer-controlled machinery.
6. The ability to read and understand complex technical diagrams and manuals.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
8. The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently, managing your own workload and prioritizing tasks effectively.
9. A strong commitment to health and safety standards.
10. The ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, bending, or standing for long periods.
11. A willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
