We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our Manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for ensuring that our machinery and equipment are always in top-notch condition. This is a critical role that requires a hands-on approach, technical knowledge, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maintenance, a firm understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate.
2. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
3. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
4. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
5. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
6. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
7. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance
