Maintenance Technician

Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machine maintenance, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic issues that arise on the production floor.
• Work with PLCs to control, manage, and repair automated systems.
• Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Collaborate with the production team to understand their needs and ensure machinery is functioning at full capacity.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all company safety protocols.
• Document all maintenance work, repairs, and inspections for record-keeping and future reference.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting ways to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Be available for emergency repairs or unexpected maintenance issues that may arise outside of normal working hours.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
• Proven experience with machine maintenance, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting.
• Technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in varying temperatures.
• Willingness to work outside of normal hours in case of emergencies or unexpected issues.
