Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, including programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment.
3. Plan and implement the setup of machinery and equipment, according to the manufacturer's specifications and company guidelines.
4. Develop and maintain maintenance logs on all equipment, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance.
5. Collaborate with the operations team to diagnose problems and make recommendations for improvements.
6. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
7. Participate in the development of new equipment and ensure that maintenance activities contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the scientific industry.
2. Proficiency in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a must.
3. Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
4. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Demonstrated ability to use power and hand tools applicable to the role.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and have a strong attention to detail.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
