Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate.
2. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
3. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
4. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
5. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
6. Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
7. Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
8. Familiarity with routers, punch press, and press brakes.
9. Troubleshoot issues, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with equipment maintenance, installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
3. Proficiency in using routers, punch press, press brakes, and hand tools.
4. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of the principles of mechanics.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime if needed.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. A valid driver’s license.
11. A high school diploma or equivalent.
