Maintenance Technician

We are growing and looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Performing routine and preventive maintenance on all production and operating equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with packaging and manufacturing equipment.
• Assisting in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment.
• Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and organized work areas.
• Collaborating with team members to improve processes and enhance machine functionality.
• Documenting all performed work, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting changes that can increase equipment productivity or reduce costs.
• Communicating effectively with management and team members regarding equipment status and maintenance plans.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient knowledge of packaging equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
• Physically able to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further training or certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance is a plus.
