Job Details


Responsibilities:
1. Provide financial consulting services to clients in the engineering industry, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
2. Develop and maintain complex financial models using advanced Excel skills to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
3. Manage the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
4. Oversee fixed asset accounting, ensuring accurate and timely recording of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
5. Conduct regular ledger and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and accuracy.
6. Collaborate with management teams to develop annual budgets, monitor performance against budget, and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
7. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and drive the implementation of these initiatives.
8. Provide financial expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and business development.
9. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the engineering industry.
3. Proficient in advanced Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas.
4. Strong knowledge of financials, including ledger management, annual budget preparation, income statement analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
5. Experience in fixed asset accounting and financial reporting.
6. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of driving financial initiatives to completion.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical financial management.
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
