Position Summary:
The Manager, Quality Systems collaborates strategically with quality and operational leadership to foster and support a culture of audit readiness. This role oversees a quality systems team responsible for ensuring compliance with regulated GCP & GLP activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Promote and maintain a high-performing culture through effective talent planning, selection, onboarding, and continuous education.
Develop, document, and enforce standardized processes and procedures.
Manage daily departmental performance by allocating resources, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring key performance metrics.
Serve as a primary escalation point and strategic contact for the department.
Design and deliver comprehensive training plans and materials to support onboarding and employee development.
Analyze complex or new situations, anticipate potential issues and future trends, assess risks and opportunities, and implement solutions to enhance the Quality Management System (QMS).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Attributes:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and editing.
Knowledge and experience in Quality, GCP, ISO 15189, Proficiency Testing, CAP, CLIA, and GLP.
Ability to manage team workload, work distribution, and performance objectives.
Capability to ensure team goals and projects align with department and organizational objectives.
Membership in a Quality or Regulatory Professional Organization (preferred).
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, medical device, or clinical research setting, OR
8 years of experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, medical device, or clinical research setting.
AND
2 years of progressive leadership experience.
